Very soon after starting the WHM method proper, I noticed tinnitus. But a few years ago, I could focus on my hearing as much as I wanted and no tinnitus was there. If I focus on my tinnitus it sounds worse, just like if I focus on the way I'm sitting I become less comfortable. I think this idea that noticing it makes it worse only applies to your reaction to it. So yeah, in conclusion, I'm worried and I'd like to know more.

Not to mention there is no documentation of the long term effects which does worry me. There is also the fact that Wim himself can't explain the science behind the method, often drawing incorrect conclusions or outright bringing up false information I understand that the language barrier may be to blame, however the site barely does a good job of it either. A few people have also mentioned development of heart conditions, although I'm taking this with a grain of salt as a lot of things contribute to heart conditions in general. Personally, on returning to the method after a few months I got inflicted with the Mother of All Headaches™, it's definitely scarred me a bit. I keep on seeing comments here about people developing tinnitus due to breath holds and it worries me, I even found a tinnitus forum focused on Wim Hof. I've heard a lot of good about the method but I haven't been able to get into it any more than just dabbling for a few reasons.
